Tony + Jessica Engagement

Trumpets please Maestro.......Introducing, the long awaited engagement session of Tony and Jessica. Jessica is one of those brides that is enjoying every moment of planning her wedding. Her excitement cant help but rub off on everyone around her. She is also a self proclaimed stalker of my blog. LOL.

I know she has patiently been waiting and here it it is. We met with them downtown and got some amazing shots as well as having a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy.

Love to play with windows. Isn't that fun.

Had to put one of each of the next two pictures. I could of had fun with who leads who in the relationship (and if you know Tony, I am sure that is going to be a topic of fun discussion) But all in fun, they are great friends and couple. And as in all relationships, we each take turns leading and needing to be lead.

I think Tony and Jessica thought I was a bit crazy when I told them to pose in front of this vent, but I love the results. Kind of an architecture element. And love, love the attitude in the first one.

It doesn't get better than this. How dreamy.

Love the next series of shots. The wall, the interaction between the love birds....it all just worked.

Ending this session with a sweet moment. Ahhhh.....is that just adorable or what.

We are so very excited to meet more of your Friends and family. We will have a great time photographing your wedding. Congrats!!!

Roan and Joy - Reflections at the Buttes.

Congratulations to this cute couple - Joy and Roan. Married this June at Reflections at the Buttes. We had a great time photographing this wedding and their very large extended family. And if you think I am exaggerating, let me introduce you to the girls in Roan's life. With the exception of Joy, all the girls are his sisters.

Is it just me or is this a kickin shot.

Joy is just glowing prior to the ceremony.

Here are all the girls....look at the adorable flower girl dresses. Poka-dots. sweet.

The guys looked stellar.

Roan was a James Dean kind of guy. So the pool table shots with the faded look fit him just right.

Joy and Roan added a spin on the tradition of giving a Rose to mothers. The two front rows were filled with all the immediate family members: parents, grandparents and siblings. They had about 15 roses and came down off of the ceremony site and gave a single rose to each person individually. Both embraced each person. It was a very touching moment.

I thought this was a sweet moment for Joy following the ceremony. As with most brides, they are overwhelmed with Happy tears. One of her bridesmaids wipes them away. How sweet is that.

Joy had some amazing shoes. I loved the silver and sparkle. So of coarse, I had to take ring shots with them. Is that sexy or what.

The bouquets where just so colorful that I had to take a ring shot on there too.

On to the reception. Love the bright cheerful colors that Joy chose. Look at these great centerpieces. Reflections at the Buttes put the vases together with the fruit. How refreshing and gorgeous.

The color scheme was seen everywhere. Love this cake. And yummy cupcakes for the little ones.

During the reception guest were encouraged to write a special note to the couple to give them good wishes and probably a few tips for a long and happy marriage. The beautiful hand made box was lovingly made by the Groom - Roan. They will open this up on their one year anniversary. Is that just the sweetest thing ever.

This was a fun fact of the wedding. I was pulled aside during the reception to take this candid group photo. The woman in the middle was the flower girl for the couple on the right when they were married. Joy, our bride was the flower girl at the wedding of the couple in the center. The flower girl in the polka-dot dress is the flower girl for Joy and Roan. So there is essentially 3 generations of flower girls in this pic. Is that cool or what.

I love father - daughter dances. I am a sucker for tears.

So to end the story, I leave you with the newly wed, deeply in love, passionate and Romantic couple under the twinkly stars.

Congrats Roan and Joy. We were very blessed to be a part of your day.

Dominic + Cristan E-session

Get ready for some amazing images. We did this photo session a few weeks back. It was a bit warm, but with the hint of monsoons, we were blessed with some blue sky's and great billowy clouds. Cristan is from California and wanted a California winery feel. Well since we couldn't head up to Napa, we decided to bring it local in the AZ winery's.
Plus we hit a few other spots along the way. And we had lots of fun.

Jon took the next two shots. Couldn't decide if I liked the grapes out of focus or the couple....so I uploaded both. What do you think? Both are just amazing.

Came across an old windmill and so glad we stopped. This is the type of shot you can put on the wall and just stare at and be pulled into it.

The next set of shots just make you sigh.

Those sexy eyes will just pierce through you. You are a lucky man Dominic.

Sooooooooooo sweet.
