Michael and Kelly at Saguaro Buttes

Michael and Kelly were married at the Saguaro Buttes in May. What a lovely couple with Lots of spunk!! The wedding day was flawless and ended with this magical sunset.
I started out the day with the girls and just love it when I catch the mom and bride together. Sometimes I think it means more to mom's than anyone else on that day. Being a mom myself, I can identify. Look how proud she is of her baby girl.
Before the ceremony, Michael sent Kelly a love note and a beautiful bracelet. From her reaction, it was filled with love and sentiment. How sweet is that. Can you see the tear?
Here is the lovely couple prior to the ceremony. Glowing!!

Do you love this cake or what!!! LOVE the topper.
Some Details. Great colors. Love the Cubs garter.
So, this wedding had something different that we had never seen before and I was in awe. Both Bride and Groom were part of Fraternities and Sororities. And they were a big part of the day. During the reception all the guys in Michael's Fraternity had a white rose and got on their knees to serenade the Bride. They sang in amazing harmony and gave this amazing tribute to the Bride. At the end of the song they all handed their rose to the Bride to congratulate her and welcome her to their family. It was simply a special moment.

The Sorority girls had it going on as well and the night was filled with dance, laughter and craziness.

I am sure they are all still talking about this party. This was a lot of fun and the couple kicked off their life together with a bang. Congratulations and many many years of happiness.

Derek + Valerie

LOVE IS IN THE AIR..... (No pun intended). We met up with Valerie and Derek to do their engagement session up in the Phoenix area. They were real pros on the posing side. They said they have never done this before, but I would wager other wise. They seemed very comfortable in front of the camera, with each other and it comes through on the photo's.

They are just soooooooo adorable.

Look at that sexy and sultry look shooting out of those eyes.....

We had a lot of fun and can not wait to photograph their wedding. Its going to be a blast.

Ryan + Stephanie at La Mariposa

This first picture above was taken the day before Stephanie and Ryan's wedding. But just loved it so much I had to share.

Ryan and Stephanie had their wedding and graced the grounds of La Mariposa in Tucson . The grounds here were stunning and one of the best backdrops I have seen yet. The picture below is just...........AMAZING.
Words just do not do it justice. It is poetic and romantic.
A wedding photographers paradise.

Stephanie's entrance in the ceremony was a long walk across the grounds, through the trees and up to the gazebo to the love of her life. Sigh.......

There is a wonderful pond across from the gazebo. Green grass, green trees....for those of you that want to steer away from the desert look, this place is for you.

I just have to sigh again.....................OMG!!

Look at these beauties.

The guys - handsome and they have their game face on.

Each table had a card in the center that told about a special place or thing that meant something or intimate to Ryan and Stephanie.

The dance floor inside has a very large round sky window looking up into the clouds and shows the night stars once the sun goes down.

They light up the gazebo at night and we get to take some of our fav romantic shots under the stars.

Sparklers were brought out to lighten up thier exit. Always great for sending off the happy couple as they leave to thier honeymoon.

Ahhhhhhhhh
