Sergio and Jessica - Saguaro Buttes

Congrats Sergio and Jessica. Married March 27 at Saguaro Buttes. What a beautiful day. What a very very sweet couple. You may recognize some of the pictures from our web site. Several of them were so dramatic we added them right away.
Like this shot. WOW...The blue just jumps off the page. They had a good size wedding party and a good looking group at that.
Jessica had the girls practicing line dancing before the ceremony. It was adorable. They continued after getting dressed and here they are on in action.
Jessica was glowing all day, just a stunning bride. All the girls had silver shoes and a style to match their taste. They were scattered all over so what a photo op.

The guys were not short of having fun themselves. Lots of playing around and having a good time.
Ceremonies are the reason we come to the party and Children make some of the best shots. I love this little guy being curious with Jon's camera.
Several members of the wedding party including the groom were ball players through college and I believe into the pro's. So of coarse they had to incorporate some of this into the theme. Look real close you can see home plate in front of the bride. Guys.....it is great when you put your touch on the wedding. Check out this cake topper. And, look at that colorful cake.

All I can say about this next shot.......OMG Stunning!!

They started out the party with a Mariachi Band. They serenaded the guests and sounded amazing

Jessica and Sergio surprised the guest when they broke out in a crazy and fun choreographed dance.

Their lives will be happy, wonderful and forever.....you could see it in their eyes.

Why our Clients love Something Blue

OK, so I know most of you visit the blog to see the stories of our Brides and Grooms. And believe me there are so many coming - so please come back soon. I am on dead lines to get our anxious Brides their pics. But I wanted to throw in a fun tid-bit about us. Our clients love Something Blue for many reasons. One....well, that we will do just about anything to get a shot.

This weekend we shot Richard and Evelyn's wedding and I came across this shot that my hubby unsuspectingly was taking of me. Where else, but on the ground.

Results......Whimsy and fun

So, all is fair in Love and War......Here is one of Jon that I unsuspectingly caught of him. LOL

Result....Dramatic and beautiful.

Remember, we will do just about anything short of jumping off a cliff to get the shot. And if you gave us a parachute, we would probably jump off the cliff. Its all in fun and to get the shot!!!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Ben & Loni - Reflections at the Buttes

Loni and Ben.....What an amazing and fun filled wedding day. They win the prize for the most personalize and unique wedding ever. Loni put sooooo much time and thought into every little detail. You will see.

First, I must say they are a very beautiful couple. Her dress was stunning and check out Ben's stylin shoes.

Loni works with the hearing and visually impaired children. So Ben being the romantic wrote her a love letter in Brail. Only Loni could read it, which made the gesture even more romantic.

This wedding party had a lot of energy as did the day. This photo says it all. Look -Loni even got air. I love the whimsical shadows from them jumping.

They happened to get one of the most spectacular sunsets of the year, so we caught a few shots. I thought this was just adorable walking into the sunset. Look at those sexy heels.

To introduce the wedding party at the reception, the main lights were dimmed and the DJ announced each Bridesmaid and Groomsman with their own personal stats with music blaring and spot lights flashing.

Once all attendants were announced they held up a banner of LOVE

Ben and Loni came crashing through it. It was exciting and so much fun.

When Loni and Ben hit the floor, the entire wedding party got in a sports huddle and chanted in a swaying huddle and then all putting their hands in the center cheered "Girdler" (the couples last name)

The reception kept the energy going and the dance floor was filled all night long.
I thought this was cute, catching Loni dancing to YMCA.

Loni and her dad started their father-daughter dance out so gracefully and then broke out in a rap song and tore up the floor. Here are a few shots of them getting jiggy. I heard the other guests making comments that this was out of character for her dad, which made it all the more special. Way to go dad....anything for your little girl.

Ben and Loni are Bicycle enthusiast. So they definitely wanted to incorporate their love for riding into the wedding. You will see in a moment why we used the bikes as props in the wedding photos. Ok, this is before the wedding...............

And this is after. They found the most adorable Bride and Groom biking outfits ever. Tux for Ben and a Brides dress for Loni. Loni's came complete with a fake back tie up and a fake tattoo on the lower back. She wore her veil under the helmet and kept her garter on. They were just so adorable.

So, I know what you are thinking.....What does a Bride and Groom do in such adorable attire after spending the last 10 hours preparing and partaking in the most eventful wedding ever. Why they get on their bikes and ride all the way to El Conquistador Hotel .....OF COARSE!!

So I jump in the drivers seat and Jon jumps in the back of the truck and we follow them all the way there, taking some very fun shots.

WHAT A DAY!!! WHAT A WEDDING!!! Congrats to such a fun and memorable wedding. Thanks for letting us be a part of it.

James and Rebecca Tucson Wedding

Introducing James and Rebecca married at the Historic Manning House this March. And Yes, Sir George was the hairiest groomsman we have had to date. He was precious, well behaved and exhausted by the end of the day. He walked down the isle with poise next to Jame's daughter.

Our experience with the Manning House staff was top rate. Beautifully green lush grounds and gorgeous architecture and so much history.

See George waiting patiently to the side during the ceremony until his Que to walk back down the isle.

They had a beautiful musical trio playing while guest arrived at the ceremony. It set the mood for the amazing ceremony to follow.

Rebecca hired a very talented and upcoming florist - Good Sunflower - The arrangements were gorgeous and the entire reception was filled with yummy aroma.

The cake was stunning. Good Sunflower provided the arrangement of flowers that adorned the cake and assembled it at the reception site. What talent.
