Why our Clients love Something Blue

OK, so I know most of you visit the blog to see the stories of our Brides and Grooms. And believe me there are so many coming - so please come back soon. I am on dead lines to get our anxious Brides their pics. But I wanted to throw in a fun tid-bit about us. Our clients love Something Blue for many reasons. One....well, that we will do just about anything to get a shot.

This weekend we shot Richard and Evelyn's wedding and I came across this shot that my hubby unsuspectingly was taking of me. Where else, but on the ground.

Results......Whimsy and fun

So, all is fair in Love and War......Here is one of Jon that I unsuspectingly caught of him. LOL

Result....Dramatic and beautiful.

Remember, we will do just about anything short of jumping off a cliff to get the shot. And if you gave us a parachute, we would probably jump off the cliff. Its all in fun and to get the shot!!!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

What do you want your children and your grandchildren to see when they look at your pictures in years to come? Do not leave the only documentation of the biggest day of your life to ammetures. Do not have any regrets. We want you to smile every time you look back at your wedding day. We want you to cry and laugh remembering all the special details.

Presidential Inauguration 2009 - Itzhak Perlman

I, like most of the World was watching the inauguration events this week. Prior to President Obama being sworn in, a musical quartet performed. When I heard the names of the musician, I about came out of my seat.

I had the great privilege of being commissioned to cover a private greeting of Itzhak Perlman after his concert in Tucson last January. Mr. Perlman is one of the worlds most well known and greatest musicians as well as an amazing artist - as you heard during the inauguration.

Just thought I would share. Next blog - back to weddings - I PROMISE.

TUCSON BRIDE AND GROOM MAGAZINE

Hello Everyone,
You should rush and pick up a recent issue of Tucson Bride and Groom Magazine. We have a two page spread of one of our recent weddings - Dina and Francis. It is so fun to be published. In addition to that, they used 9 images of ours in random articles. Below each image or at the bottom of the page, it will note: Photography compliments of Something Blue Photography. We love our pictures, but it is so comforting and encouraging to see that others feel the same as we do.

I will be sending a copy to all of my wonderful couples that were used through out the magazine.....YOU ARE FAMOUS!!
