Ken and Kara - Light Hearted and full of Love

Have you ever had one of those days when everything goes your way.  This was one of them.  Everything cooperated including the sunlight.  We had the most delicious light this wedding day.

This fun loving - free spirited couple is Ken and Kara.  The wedding ceremony was held at Beautiful Savor Lutheran Church  and the reception was held at Heritage Highlands at Dove Mountain.

The above image is one of my favorites.  They ended up using this image on their thank you cards and we have used it in our new ad in Tucson Bride and Groom Magazine.

Heritage Highlands used an image very similar to this for their new ad in the Tucson Bride and Groom magazine

The whole wedding party was fun and up for this whimsical shot.  (Also used in the Tucson Bride and Groom magazine)

This was a fun detail.  The bartenders special brew was Sangria and the recipe came from a visit to Spain.

Ken and Kara chose to use pie instead of cake.  Love it!.  Pies were made by Village Bake House.  The array of wonderful pumpkins, squash and other vegitables were centerpieces and grown in Kara's dads garden.  A family recipe was attached to each vegi and was to be taken home by the guests.

Ken and Kara sat us at the head table.  Wow we felt like royalty.  To all that read this, it is NEVER expected but it was a treat for sure.

Kara had lived with two of her bridesmaids for 7 years and were her best friends.  When it came time for the toast it was definitely a tear jerker.  The two roommates brought a poster that had been in their apartment for all those years.  On the poster  was Likes and Dislikes.  When Kara began dating Ken, his name was put on a post it.  As time went on, Kens post it made it over to the Like section and stayed.

Ken and Kara had a beautiful choreographed dance.  Love it....makes such a statement.

It was a beautiful day with an amazing couple.  Congrats to you both.  Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your day.
