Mike and Summer married at Reflections at the Buttes

Summer and Mike at the Reflections at the Buttes.

Is there any of you out there that wished that you had made your wedding the one of your dreams. Well Summer and Mike is that couple. They were actually wed 10 years ago and made a promise to each other that on their 10 year anniversary they would renew their vows and plan the wedding of their dreams. And they did just that at The Reflections at the Buttes. The best part is that they are still soooooo in love. They have a beautiful family and they had a blast.

Summer chose a spring bouquet of colors. You will see with the bridesmaids dresses and the flowers. It was bright, cheerful and lovely.

Here is Summer, such a beautiful bride.

This is Mike and his baby boy.

This is one of my all time favorite ring shots.

Details, Details, Details. Summer planned an amazing wedding and no detail was spared. The steps leading to their vows were blanketed with petals.

Guests were offered water bottles with personalized labels.

How sweet are the flower girls.

This is their baby boy.....I love the sippy cup.

ooops, the other ring bearer is going the wrong way. Kids are amazing....and you never know what they will do next.

The isle was adorned with flowers on either side. It was such a beautiful entrance for such a beautiful bride.

Kids will be kids and they were very entertaining during the ceremony.

On to the reception and all the amazing details.

Piano's were incorporated into the details. Summer said that when they held hands, their fingers looked like piano keys. Isn't that the sweetest thing ever.

Take a look at how she took the color theme and added it into the reception. The tables and flower centerpieces were stunning.

Summer and Mike are Die-Hard U of A Football fans. And when I say this, I do not mean it lightly. So of coarse they had to incorporate this into their special day.

Mariachi Band.......Need I say more. We loooooooooooove Mariachi's.

They broke out with cigars at the reception. Love cigar shots

We are so happy for Mike and Summer for making their dreams come true, for still being in love and for allowing us to be a part of their special day.

Ben + Clarissa Engagment Session

We had the privilege of photographing Ben and Clarrisa's Engagement at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. We had a lot of fun, but the trick was beating out the monsoons rolling in. It got a little scary at the end, but as you can see, we did it. When we finished up and RAN to our vehicles, the clouds opened up and poured down on the city.
Both Clarissa and Ben were alumni of U of A so it only seemed fitting for them to stroll around campus for their engagement pics.

We love to add a little humor.

Can't leave U of A without a pic of Old Main.

Thanks Ben and Clarissa for a great session and we are very excited for your upcoming wedding.

Brett and Michelle at Reflections at the Buttes

We are proud to introduce to you Brett and Michelle. Married this June at the Reflections at the Buttes. They chose a very elegant Asian theme. As you will see, the theme helped to get some pretty great shots. I will start this blog out with some of their details. Their cake went with the theme, was beautiful and had symbols of love inscribed on the sides.

The men had real swords and the woman had parcels. Real swords....How cool is that. Brett made each of the sword holders that were attached to the belt. But REAL SWORDS.....

Here are a few more details carried out through the wedding. Love the bamboo name place holder. They also had a them drink for the night that was the color blue.

Michelle was quite a beauty and her dress was stunning.

Brett had his two older brothers and his best friend there not only to stand up with him, but to help him get dressed on the biggest day of his life.

Just stunning........

Michelle also had two of her sisters and her best friend standing up with her on her big day.

I love Brett's face as he is pledging his love to Michelle in front of all their friends and family.

Can you believe this next shot. OOOOOOH. The sunset, the silhouette. The romance - Awesome.

The couples first dance - Ahhhhh. Love all the lights that the Buttes have.

I am a sucker for the father daughter dance. If nothing else brings tears during the day's events, this usually does it. And this was no exception.

One of the brothers of Brett wanted to get a picture of all of their hands united and showing their wedding rings. We loved this idea and it came out great.

I leave you with this shot of the couple kissing and completely embraced in each others arms. You truly can not get more romantic than that.

Reflections at the Buttes is one of the many venues we are preferred vendors at.
Congrats Brett and Michelle. Best Wishes!!
